Elise Chard

Real Estate Agent

Howard Hanna

With a professional, yet friendly approach, I strive to make clients feel comfortable and informed as they find a house to call their home. I specialize in military relocation, providing my clients with the best service possible- before, during, and after closing.
As a former military spouse I moved with my family ten times, so I understand the stress involved with moving, whether it is across the street or across the globe.

I have been a licensed real estate agent since 2006, and I pride myself on providing the highest level service and integrity to my clients to make the purchase or sale of your home a positive experience. I take the time to help my clients figure out exactly what they want by not only finding out what they are looking for in a home, but also what they are looking for in a lifestyle. Understanding the nuanced differences between the diverse living opportunities in the Southside of Hampton Roads is key to choosing the right home- from Norfolk's historic districts to our beautiful beaches, the area offers everything from urban living to suburban bliss.

My family and I have settled in Hampton Roads, making Norfolk our "forever home". I am actively engaged in the community- volunteering for CHKD (Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters) as a member of the Union of Hands Circle, as well as a member of Larchmont Elementary School's PTA and the annual R.A.T. Race committee.

Buying or selling a home is a complicated process, I will navigate you through it, making it as easy and seamless as possible. It is a distinct privilege to be entrusted to assist my clients to ensure a pleasant experience.

Billy received his Bachelor of Arts from The Ohio State University and his Master of Arts from The University of Oklahoma. After serving 14 years on active duty as a Naval Aviator, he initially entered the real estate industry as a residential lender, originating loans in three states. Armed with the knowledge of the business, Billy transitioned to residential real estate to work along side his wife Elise, a 12 year veteran agent. Billy brings his unique insight into the industry which proves invaluable to clients, as he has closed hundreds of loans, giving him a deep understanding of every step of the process, including helping clients prepare for pre-approval and helping them understand the nuances of the transaction that gives them a competitive advantage over other buyers and sellers in the market. During his time in the military, his family moved 10 times in a 12 year period – so Billy truly understands the stress involved in buying or selling a home, and the importance of world class customer service. Billy is passionate about helping his clients buy or sell their homes because he appreciates the stress involved. He understands that communication and transparency are paramount to help ease this stress for his clients. When he’s not helping his clients, Billy is spending time with his family or rooting for his favorite sports team.
